What Happened To DVD Sales?
Cable And Satellite TV
  • 64 Million homes with cable TV or satellite TV all with 6 channels of adult programming 24/7.
  • The average household buys one adult PPV / VOD per week. That's 256 million dollars in sales per month for which our industry receives little or no revenues.
  • Cable and satellite broadcasters are generating 7 billion dollars per year in adult sales. They pay adult producers, on average, 0.25% of the gross or 17.5 million dollars per year.
  • Do your own math if you don't believe ours.
Internet VOD And Free Content
  • As adult content producers, we have given our movies, pictures and trailers to internet companies that cannot afford to produce their own content which they need to run their business.
  • They, in turn, would like to convince us that by giving us 25% of the revenue, with no upfront cost to them, that they are doing us a favor!
  • Those same internet companies then give free content in the form of pictures, trailers and even small clips of our content, which they received at no cost, to their customers for free! We receive no revenue from the customer who, in turn, does not purchase new products from local video stores which have been the backbone of our industry for over 20 years.
  • By continuing to subscibe to these busniess practices, we are destorying the backbone of our industry, which is destroying local retailers, which is depriving other content producers and themselves of a fair share of revenue from their content.
Respecting Our Industry
  • Any business that uses our content, that cannot afford to pay an upfront licensing fee plus a fair percentage of the gross revenue, should not ever be allowed to use our content.
  • We should never put anyone in business with out content that does not respect our right to make a profit and treat us like an illegitimate business. Without us, they cannot continue to do be in business.
